Communications, LLC has an opening for the following
position:
Communications
Technician
Candidate will
perform duties associated with the installation,
repair, and service of communication equipment of
voice, video, and data. Responsibilities and duties
would include providing service to subscribers by
terminating cable and telephone wire, wiring phones,
installing jacks, installing DSL, provisioning
video, and maintaining current records within the
Central Office. Candidate will install, test, and
repair voice and data communications equipment such
as central office, fiber optics, T-1, PBX, Centrex,
and cable television as well as other miscellaneous
equipment.
Candidate must have
knowledge of telephone company operations,
procedures, and terminology. Two year telephony
school required and/or four plus years experience
and knowledge of phone systems, PBXs and computer
background is helpful.
